Eight is Great

Believe in miracles.
Swing for the fences.
Don't take no for an answer.
Give yourself permission to be optimistic.
Fight with everything you've got.
Laugh as often as possible
Grab the hand of a newbie and don't let go

Never give in, ever.

Above all-

NO SURRENDER.

Eight years ago today
They told me I had cancer.
A very aggressive, "bad cancer" with a bad prognosis

Hope Happens.
Every day, every month, every year, eight years, as a matter of fact, and counting.

Oh our GG, our sweet, caring, beautiful Gina,

Eight years seems like such a long time ago to me...and you are here, as an inspiration to all, telling your story and reaching out your hand to whoever will take it.
I can see you now, driving down Hillside Avenue in a light blue convertible. You just had your hair done at Illusions and your going to meet the girls for lunch and Canasta. You pass me on my right and I notice the scarf your wearing on your head, blowing in the wind. I decide to follow you, but your going so fast I can barely keep up. I still don't know what street your going to turn on because your blinker was on the whole time...
Oh and I think I heard something blasting on your radio?? I couldn't make it out, maybe you can tell me what it was!

Love you Gina,

Jennine
